1. Suspended ceilings in offices, classrooms, and hospitals.
2. Roof-ceiling cavities in residential houses.
3. Acoustic ceilings in auditoriums, theaters, and recording studios.
4. Commercial buildings where energy efficiency and soundproofing are essential.
1. Superior Acoustic Insulation: Glass wool absorbs airborne sound waves, making it ideal for reducing noise transmission between rooms and floors. It is commonly used in offices, schools, and theaters for soundproofing suspended ceilings.
2. Excellent Fire Resistance: Glass wool is non-combustible and typically achieves a Euroclass A1 fire rating, meaning it does not contribute to the spread of fire — a critical safety feature in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
3. Moisture and Mold Resistant: Glass wool does not absorb water, and with proper facing (e.g., aluminum foil or black/white tissue), it resists moisture and mold growth, ensuring long-term durability and hygiene in humid environments.
4. Lightweight and Easy to Install: Its soft, flexible structure allows it to be easily cut and fitted between ceiling joists or above ceiling tiles. This saves labor time and installation costs.
