ECOFOX® Stone Wool Blanket Description 

ECOFOX® Stone Wool Blanket, also known as Rock Wool Blanket, is a flexible and rollable thermal insulation material made from natural basalt and other minerals. It is processed into a fibrous structure with excellent fire resistance, thermal insulation, and acoustic performance.

Stone wool blankets are commonly used in industrial and commercial insulation applications, including pipelines, tanks, ovens, ducts, and high-temperature equipment. They are available with or without facings such as aluminum foil, wire mesh, or glass cloth for added strength and moisture resistance.

ECOFOX® Stone Wool Blanket Applications

1. Building energy saving and sound insulation: Used in walls (external insulation, internal partition walls), roofs (sloping roofs, flat roofs) and floor/ceiling systems, effectively improving insulation performance and reducing noise.

2. Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system: Including duct wrapping, insulation and anti-condensation of hot and cold water pipes and steam pipes, reducing energy consumption and preventing condensation in pipes.

3. Industrial high temperature equipment and pipelines: Used for high temperature insulation of furnaces, ovens, heat exchangers, boilers and their associated pipelines, flanges and valves, suitable for continuous working temperatures up to 650°C or above.

4. Fire protection and passive fire separation: Applied to wall/floor penetrations (pipes, cables), fire-resistant curtain walls and partitions, as well as fire blocking of building expansion joints and vertical shafts.

5. Marine and special environments: Widely used in professional scenarios such as ship insulation and sound insulation, offshore oil platform pipeline and equipment protection, as well as cryogenic (deep freezing) storage tanks and clean rooms.
