ISOKING Aluminium foil facing rock wool pipe is a pre-formed thermal insulation solution designed for hot and cold pipeline systems. Manufactured from natural basalt fibers, the rock wool core delivers excellent thermal insulation, fire resistance, and acoustic performance, while the aluminium foil facing provides a moisture barrier and enhanced durability.
This product is widely used in petrochemical plants, power stations, HVAC systems, refrigeration lines, and industrial piping, where both energy efficiency and safety are critical.
High-efficiency thermal insulation: low thermal conductivity (≤0.040 W/m·K), effectively blocking heat transfer, reducing energy loss, and significantly reducing operating costs.
Class A fire retardant: high temperature resistance of more than 700℃, non-combustible in case of fire, no toxic smoke, in line with building fire safety standards, ensuring the safety of equipment and personnel.
Hydrophobic and moisture-proof: adding a hydrophobic agent, fiber hydrophobicity ≥98%, long-term exposure to a humid environment can still maintain stability, avoiding the decline of thermal insulation performance.
Environmentally friendly and durable: no asbestos, no CFC/HCFC, in line with environmental protection requirements; anti-corrosion, anti-aging, service life of more than 20 years.
Lightweight and easy to install: the pipe diameter and thickness can be customized according to the pipe size, the slit design is matched with aluminum foil veneer, which is convenient to install and greatly shortens the project cycle.

1. Thermal Insulation
The rock wool core is made from natural basalt fibers with a low thermal conductivity.
It reduces heat loss or gain in hot and cold pipelines, keeping process temperatures stable.
2. Fire Protection
Rock wool is non-combustible and can withstand extremely high temperatures.
In case of fire, it acts as a protective layer, slowing flame spread along pipes.
3. Moisture & Vapor Barrier
The aluminium foil facing serves as a vapor barrier, preventing condensation on cold pipes.
It also reflects radiant heat, enhancing insulation performance in high-temperature systems.
4. Acoustic Control
The porous rock wool structure absorbs vibration and reduces noise from fluid or gas flow inside pipelines.
5. Mechanical Protection & Durability
The rigid pipe section form ensures a snug fit around pipelines without sagging.
Aluminium foil adds an extra layer of protection against mechanical damage, oil, and chemical exposure.
The rock wool core insulates and resists fire, while the aluminium foil facing blocks moisture, reflects heat, and strengthens durability—making it ideal for hot and cold pipe systems.
